Job summary

Mercy Rehab Hospital OK City South in Oklahoma City is hiring an Environmental Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

You will clean patient rooms, remove trash, change bed linens, stock supplies, and ensure carts and equipment are kept in good condition for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in clinical housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including trash removal, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Stock paper items and supplies in patient rooms as necessary.
• Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store after shift.

How You'll Contribute

The Environmental Services Worker will create a sanitary, safe environment and enhance the appearance of the facility. Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces
• Stocking paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated
• Maintaining cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate area when finished with shift

Qualifications And Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience: Previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred
