Job summary

Providence Rehabilitation Hospital East is seeking an Environmental Services team member to maintain a sanitary, safe hospital environment and support quality patient care. You will clean patient rooms, corridors and public areas, follow infection control procedures, and restock supplies.

Reports to: Director of Environmental Services. Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent; previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
• Other duties as assigned
