Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across patient rooms, public areas, and offices in our Jacksonville facility.

The role requires following daily cleaning protocols, supporting infection control, and contributing to a positive patient experience through attention to detail and professional interactions with patients and staff. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior hospital cleaning experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred; cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows daily.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily.
• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
