Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment across patient rooms, public areas, and offices. You will support infection control and contribute to a positive patient experience through consistent cleaning and organization.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restrooms, lounges, floors, and surfaces, operating cleaning equipment, removing trash, stocking linens, and following infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.

• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
