Job summary

Syringa Hospital & Clinics in Grangeville, Idaho is seeking a dedicated environmental services team member to maintain a clean, sanitary facility across hospital and clinic spaces, including patient and visitor areas.

Responsibilities include laundry, general cleaning, and following supervisor directions with attention to EHR and Time & Attendance training; weekend rotations and flexible shifts may be required; candidates should communicate effectively with staff, patients and departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mandatory training on EHR and Time & Attendance.
• Willingness to work weekends or various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hospital and Syringa clinics including patient areas.
• Perform laundry and general cleaning as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with additional cleaning tasks such as washing walls, windows, and floors.
• Communicate effectively with staff and patients and comply with policies.

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility (Hospital and all Syringa clinics) including all patient and visitor areas. Responsible for laundry and general cleaning.

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for cleaning all administrative and patient care areas as directed by the supervisor. Performs extra cleaning when directed. Extra cleaning includes, but not limited to washing down walls, windows, Scouring Sinks, Showers, Window Shades, Baseboards, Ceilings, And Other non-daily cleaning activities. Maintain floors including waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning, vacuuming, mopping as assigned. Other duties as requested by the supervisor. Responsible for knowledge of all applicable hospital and department policies and procedures. Participate in mandatory training on EHR and Time & Attendance and demonstrate basic competency in the functions applicable to their role. Works closely with all departments. Must be able and willing to work well and communicate with other employees, departments, customers, and patients. Must be willing to work a weekend rotation or other shifts as needed. Must be willing to do callbacks for late check-outs, cleaning of the ER, or for emergency surgeries as needed. Position requires access to highly confidential information. Performs other duties as assigned.
