Job summary

Briarwood Health Center by Harborview is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This role focuses on routine and thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways in a faith-based care setting.

You will follow established cleaning protocols, replenish supplies, report maintenance issues promptly, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned.
