Accela Rehab and Care Center at Manalapan is seeking an Environmental Services team member to perform cleaning duties across patient rooms and common spaces. You will help maintain a safe, sanitary environment in a healthcare setting.

The role supports infection control standards and may involve light laundry and general housekeeping tasks. A compassionate attitude and ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial services, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Compassionate, caring attitude toward residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other facility spaces.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with occasional laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed.
