Job summary

Ambassador Healthcare is seeking experienced Environmental Staff for the laundry and/or housekeeping team at our Centerville, Indiana facility. You will be responsible for laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing residents' laundry, as well as cleaning and sanitizing rooms and common areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.
• Willingness to perform both laundry and housekeeping duties and follow infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Laundry duties: sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing residents' laundry.
• Maintain laundry equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Housekeeping duties: clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas, dispose of waste.

As an Environmental Staff member “Laundry and/or Housekeeping” at Ambassador Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:

• Laundry Duties:




• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents' laundry.


• Maintaining laundry equipment and ensuring proper use and safety.


• Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.




• Housekeeping Duties:




• Cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces.


• Disposing of waste and maintaining a clean and organized environment.


• Assisting with maintaining a safe and pleasant atmosphere for residents.
