Sierra Health + Wellness is seeking an Environmental Services worker to maintain a clean and sanitary environment in a healthcare setting. The role includes cleaning, stocking supplies, and assisting with daily residential assistant duties as needed.

The position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow verbal directions. CPR/First Aid certification and health screenings are preferred or required where applicable.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED must be completed.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred and may be required.
• Current TB test and health screen required for employment.

• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors.
• In charge of stain-removal treatments as needed.
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers.
• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed.
• Scrub sinks and toilets in bathrooms.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and counters as needed.
• Keep public spaces neat and tidy; sanitize doorknobs and hard surfaces.
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered; keep inventory of supplies.
• Complete all facility laundry and conduct safety checks.

The Environmental Services position maintains a clean, sanitary, and organized environment. They ensure facilities are well-stocked, organized, and sanitary. When not cleaning, the employee will be assisting with the daily residential assistant duties.

Essential Functions

Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products

• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors
• In charge treatments such as stain-removal as needed
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers
• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
• Scrub sinks and toilets in bathrooms
• Clean windows, mirrors, and counters as needed
• Keeps all public spaces neat and tidy
• Sanitize all doorknobs, counters, and hard surfaces
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
• Keeps inventory of needed supplies
• Completes all facility laundry
• Conduct and document safety checks
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

Office and healthcare setting with clients and other employees present.

• Working indoors primarily and outdoors occasionally
• May walk on slippery and uneven walking surfaces
• Excessive continuous noise at times
• Typical office and outside atmosphere
• Indoor and outdoor, using some cleaning supplies and tools

Physical Demands

• Physically able to push up to 30 lbs
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per day

Travel Required

• Ability to travel to various offices or facility locations

Qualifications

Required education and experience

• (Preferred) High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possess CPR/First Aid certification.
