Job summary

Community Health of South Florida Inc. is seeking an Environmental Service Worker for the West Perrine location in Miami, FL. This non-exempt position supports custodial operations, floor care, window washing, and waste removal to maintain hygienic clinical spaces.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and about one year of custodial experience; CPR certification is required, and a Florida driver’s license is preferred for on-site mobility and coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED desirable.
• One year experience in custodial work.

Responsibilities

• Strip, scrub, wax, and polishes floors.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Wash windows, woodwork, walls, toilets, washrooms, and fixtures.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets, clean exam tables and other equipment.
• Spray for insects as directed.
• Removal of infectious waste.
• Empty trashcans, refill paper towel dispensers and hand soap.
• Replace burnt out bulbs.
• Assist in making simple repairs to building and clean equipment as directed.
• Move offices and institutional furniture and equipment as directed.
• Removal of debris and other trash.
• Reports to work on time and ready to work with minimal absenteeism.
• Adheres to Confidentiality Policies & Procedures / HIPAA Regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Environmental Service Worker is responsible for the overall custodial work of the CHI facilities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
