Environmental Services Technician - Part Time Available

Looking for work? Do you have experience doing janitorial or custodial work? Join us at Goodwill of North Georgia, where donations are transformed into training that helps people overcome barriers to meaningful work.

We are offering a part-time Environmental Services Technician (EST) position at our store. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the store's cleanliness through housekeeping and janitorial duties. The Part-Time EST will work a schedule of three 10-hour days, while the Full-Time EST works four consecutive 10-hour days.

What you'll be doing:

• Keeping our stores clean through dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing. Training will be provided for using buffers and floor scrubbers.
• Managing trash and maintaining bathroom cleanliness.
• Following task outlines and complying with ISO regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

What we're looking for:

Requirements:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the workday.

Note: The role involves working in various conditions, including heat, cold, and dust, and may require physically loading and unloading donated items.

Preferences:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
