Environmental Services Technician - Full Time AND Part Time Available

Looking for work? Do you have experience doing janitorial or custodial work? Join us at Goodwill of North Georgia, where donations are transformed into training that helps people overcome barriers to meaningful work.

We are offering both full-time and part-time Environmental Services Technician (EST) positions at our store. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of the store through housekeeping and janitorial tasks. The full-time schedule consists of four 10-hour days, while the part-time schedule involves three 10-hour days.

What you'll be doing:

• Keeping our stores clean by dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
• Training in the use of buffers and floor scrubbers.
• Managing trash and bathroom cleanliness.
• Following task outlines and complying with ISO regulations, company, and state policies to ensure safety and security.

What we're looking for:

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the workday.
• Capability to work in various conditions including heat, cold, and dust, and physically process (load/unload) donated items with or without accommodations.

Preferences:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
