Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Services professional to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards 24/7. You will work on the evening shift (3:30pm–12:00am), full-time, with rotating weekends and holidays, as part of a healthcare team.

The role emphasizes waste management, patient and staff safety, and high-quality customer service in a hospital setting. Prior environmental services experience is preferred; a DOT hazardous material certification or ability

Performs tasks as a member of a healthcare team while independently providing the highest standards of quality in cleanliness, waste management, infection control, and customer service to serve our patients, clinical departments, ancillary departments, visitors, and staff 24/7.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred.
• Experience working in sterile/infection control environment desirable.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• D.O.T. hazardous material certification or ability to obtain.

• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to innovate new methods of service delivery
