Job summary

Heinzerling Community is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to maintain cleanliness across resident, office, and staff areas in our Columbus, OH location. The role supports residents by keeping living spaces orderly and sanitary, enabling a dignified living environment.

The position requires physical stamina and reliability, with a base pay of $17.25 per hour plus a $2.00 weekend differential. Ongoing duties include laundry processing, trash removal, and daily floor cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to push individuals who weigh up to 200 pounds in wheelchairs.
• Must be able to stay awake for the entire shift.

Position Summary

The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for the cleanliness of all assigned areas, and ensures that resident clothing and linens are clean and available for use.

Pay Rates & Available Shifts

1 st shift (6:30 AM – 3 PM). The base pay is $17.25 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour weekend shift differential.

Requirements

Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly and push individuals who weigh up to 200 pounds in wheelchairs. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Must be able to stay awake for the entire shift.
