Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and other areas in a timely manner.
  • Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas.
  • Sweep and mop patient rooms.
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies and chemicals on carts and in closets.
  • Perform daily floor care procedures consistently.
  • Keep equipment clean and polished; ensure carts, tanks, and buckets are emptied and rinsed at shift end.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
  • Strong accountability for improving patient and caregiver experiences
