Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or a science field plus practical experience with mechanical/electrical systems and three years related experience.
• Proficiency in programming microprocessors using Python and Arduino/C++.
• Experience with environmental instrumentation and sensor networks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of low-cost 3D-PAWS and other observation platforms.
• Assist field deployments and training, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of sensors.
• Collaborate with scientists and software engineers to improve sensors using 3D-printed components and off-the-shelf sensors.
