Environmental Senior Project Manager/Principal

Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity to hire a Senior Project Manager (SPM) / Principal in our Environmental Practice in our Indianapolis, Indiana office. As an SPM / Principal with CEC, you will be responsible for managing relationships with current clients, developing new business, managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and providing senior guidance on various projects for real estate, manufacturing, industrial, legal, and public sector clients.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • BS in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field (M.S. a plus)
  • Professional license
  • 10+ years' experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects under CERCLA and RCRA
  • Proficient in managing environmental due diligence projects, including Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments following ASTM guidelines
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations for soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, wastewater, and hazardous waste disposal
  • Proficient in scoping and managing subsurface investigations, developing investigation and remediation work plans, and preparing technical environmental reports
  • Successful track record of client management and business development
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with environmental permitting and compliance
  • Experience with SPCC/SWPPP compliance
  • Existing client connections in relevant sectors
  • Experience providing expert witness services
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training (preferred)
