Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join the Buffalo, NY Environmental Services team. The role involves field surveys, wetland delineations, environmental permitting work and data analysis for a variety of projects.

Travel nationwide may be required, with opportunities for professional development and growth. The position emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary staff, strong communication, and the ability to work in varying field conditions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in an environmental discipline.
• 1 to 5 years of environmental and/or field experience.
• Experience delineating wetlands per Corps of Engineers manuals and regional supplements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wetland delineations and field surveys for large and small projects.
• Environmental inspections to verify permit compliance.
• Prepare NYSDEC/USACE permit applications and SEQR documents.
• Summarize and analyze environmental field data for reports.
• Prepare a wide range of regulatory and impact analysis reports.
• Travel throughout NY, Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states as required.
