Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Environmental Scientist to support the Great Lakes Regional environmental remediation team in Minnesota (Plymouth, Minneapolis, or Woodbury). The role covers soil, groundwater, and soil vapor assessments for due diligence, investigations, and remediation across industries.

A background in geology/hydrogeology and HAZWOPER training are required. Preferred credentials include asbestos inspection and supervisor training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field is required.
Current 40‑Hr HAZWOPER training is required.
Ability to work in both office and field environments with regional travel.

Responsibilities

Assist with Phase I/II ESAs and soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations.
Support scoping, scheduling, and execution of field investigations.
Provide technical input and review for projects and reports.
Manage data QA/QC and compare to state regulatory standards.
Prepare technical correspondence, reports, and project plans with budgets.
