Certerra Southwest in Phoenix/Tempe, AZ is seeking an Entry Level Environmental Scientist to perform field and office duties supporting senior team leaders. You will travel regionally across the Southwest, with emphasis on Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada, and gain training on the job.
Responsibilities include groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, data logging, report writing, and assisting with environmental system design and regulatory compliance efforts.
Certerra Southwest, a leading engineering consulting firm in the western United States, has an excellent opportunity for an Entry Level Environmental Scientist in our Phoenix/Tempe, AZ office. The successful candidate will conduct a variety of field and office duties to support senior team leaders. Project assignments will take you to locations throughout the southwestern United States, but primarily in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada. A willingness and ability to learn new skills in challenging fields and office assignments in a collaborative setting wins the day! This position requires a hard-working, safe, efficient and dedicated employee that is excited to receive training on the job and expand their current skill set. Candidates must be able to travel, and work nights, weekends, and extended hours, depending on the project requirements.
