Job summary
ProSidian Consulting seeks an Environmental Scientist - Noise Pollution Specialist to provide expert NEPA-related environmental services for DOE-GFO and EERE programs across CONUS. The role focuses on noise pollution assessments, technical writing, and QA of environmental documents.
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in a scientific field and 10+ years of related experience, with substitution options for advanced degrees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant environmental analysis experience.
- Advanced experience in producing NEPA documentation and environmental assessments.
Responsibilities
- NEPA Environmental Analysis and Determinations: analyze information and determine NEPA implications.
- NEPA Inbox Tracking: monitor and track project submissions.
- Virtual NEPA Meetings: attend and document meetings and hearings.
- NEPA Records: document NEPA processes in PMC and shared drives.
- Be involved in consultations with federal, state, and local agencies.
- Provide support for environmental policy and training development.
- Adhere to quality assurance and regulatory standards in noise pollution documentation.
