Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Civil or Environmental Engineering; related field.
• 10+ years of professional work experience.
• Knowledge of stormwater permitting and planning; water quality monitoring; BMPs; and environmental compliance inspections.
• CPSWQ/CPESC certification
• QSD or QSP and QISP certifications
• Able to read, interpret, and analyze plans, technical manuals, and permits.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent writer and communicator
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record

Responsibilities

• Project Management across stormwater planning and compliance efforts.
• Interpret regulatory permits and formulate compliance strategies.
• Prepare technical reports and documents (watershed/stormwater plans, annual reports, SWPPPs, etc.).
• Execute/manage field investigations and supervise staff.
• Prepare/Monitor project budgets and meet with clients on progress and future work.
• Perform site environmental inspections (QSP, QISP, FOG).
• Conduct sampling and observations (surface water, stormwater, groundwater, wastewater, soils).
• Data management and analysis of results; develop monitoring and reporting plans.

MS or PhD in Environmental Science, Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
