Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional work experience.
• Knowledge of stormwater permitting, water quality monitoring, BMPs, and compliance inspections.
• CPSWQ/CPESC certification.
• QSD/QSP/QISP certifications.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Valid CA driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Project management of municipal, utility, industrial, and commercial programs.
• Interpret regulatory permits and develop compliance strategies.
• Prepare technical reports and documents (watershed and stormwater plans, annual reports, SWPPPs, WQMPs).
• Conduct field investigations, sampling, and data collection.
• Manage workload of Environmental Scientist staff and budgets.
• Meet with clients to discuss work and performance.
• Perform environmental compliance inspections (QSP/QISP/FOG).
• Analyze data and develop monitoring and reporting plans.
• Lead technical presentations to stakeholders.
