The Shoreline and Waterway Management Section Field Operations Branch is hiring an Environmental Scientist III to support coordination among the Science and Engineering, Field Operations, and related teams. Operations include resource management tasks such as beach nourishment, dredging, marine debris removal and hazard mitigation. This is a hands‑on fieldwork position that will lead communications, permits drafting and reviews, project management and mapping, equipment‑compliance activities, grant oversight, and GIS application management.
Upon satisfactory completion of department promotional standards and job requirements, employees may be eligible to be promoted to the next level.
