AECOM is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to join our Raleigh, NC office in a hybrid work arrangement. The role includes environmental contamination assessments, remediation, plan reviews, and technical report writing within an interdisciplinary team.
The candidate will communicate with project teams and clients, manage technical, cost, and schedule elements, and contribute to department growth and safety compliance. Day-to-day work blends in-person and telework.
AECOM is looking for an Environmental Scientist II to work in our Raleigh office. The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment and contribute with successful client engagement and department growth.
This position will consist of both in-person and virtual (telework) work environments and will include performing environmental contamination assessments, contamination remediation, plan reviews, and technical report writing.
The successful candidate will provide technical skills leading and supporting projects within the department and will develop strong relationships with the team and clients to enable pursuit of new opportunities. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team.
The successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; will manage the technical, cost and schedule elements of project delivery; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System
