Job summary

Atlas is seeking an enthusiastic environmental field technician to support site investigations, sampling, and data analysis on projects across the region. You'll gain hands‑on experience in the field and office while learning from experienced professionals and making a meaningful impact on communities and the environment.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science, 0–2 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical, analytical, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performance of site investigations to support environmental projects, including the collection of samples and environmental data.
• Conduct and document field activities such as soil, soil vapor and groundwater sampling, installations of soil borings and monitoring wells, and tank excavations/removals.
• Management and analysis of sampling data, including summary tables and maps.
• Preparing technical reports including proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans.
