C.T. Associates in the Capital Region is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Latham, NY office. The role blends fieldwork with technical analysis to support site assessments, permitting, and environmental investigations from start to finish.

You will conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, manage subsurface sampling, interpret data for reports and permit applications, and mentor early-career staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree required.
• 510 years of related experience.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations and ASTM standards.
• Experience with ArcGIS Field Maps, EQuIS and EarthSoft systems.

Mansioni

• Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Perform environmental surveys and technical data research.
• Engage in subsurface investigations (soil, groundwater, other media).
• Interpret laboratory and field data to prepare reports, maps, and permit applications.
• Coordinate and observe subcontractors for environmental investigations and sampling.
• Perform field operations using data collection devices and geospatial apps.
• Conduct long-term monitoring at environmental program sites.
• Research environmental regulations and site history.
• Mentor and delegate to early-career staff.
