Job summary

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned geotechnical and environmental consulting firm with offices throughout the eastern United States.

The role involves conducting field sampling (soil, groundwater, vapor) as well as environmental due diligence reviews and site assessments. You will analyze data, prepare technical reports, and stay current with regulations and industry standards while collaborating with a team on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 1-4+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Professional certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field sampling activities including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling as per project requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct environmental due diligence assessments including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Analyze and interpret field data, laboratory results, and historical information to support the preparation of technical reports.
• Prepare accurate and concise technical reports adhering to established guidelines; and
• Stay up to date with current regulations and industry standards.
