Job summary

Talon/LPE is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our field and office teams in Texas. You’ll support waste treatment, site remediation, and data analysis while advancing your career.

Responsibilities include client interaction, project management support, field sampling, and timely emergency response. You’ll work with mentors to develop your skills and contribute to high‑quality environmental solutions in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of environmental science experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; analytical thinking; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Client interaction: build and maintain relationships with clients via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Project management support: assist in reports, data analysis, and ensuring project success from start to finish.
• Fieldwork: collect soil and groundwater samples, document activities, and perform remediation tasks.
• Emergency response: respond promptly to environmental spills and urgent situations.
• Safety first: prioritize health and safety on all phases of each project.
• Technical expertise: use and maintain field equipment, coordinate waste profiling, and manage disposal documentation.
