Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist in Frisco, Texas to support environmental investigations, field studies, and regulatory compliance for public and private infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science or related field, 1+ year of relevant experience, and willingness to travel. Proficiency in MS Office and ArcGIS is preferred; strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental investigations, including Phase I/II ESAs, wetlands delineations, species assessments, and ecological field studies.

• Review environmental data, reports, and permits; provide regulatory guidance for federal, state, and local requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and client communications.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies on permitting and compliance.
• Conduct fieldwork and travel as required.

Job Qualifications

• 1+ years outside of academic work of relevant experience (ESA Phase I/II, wetlands, species permitting, ecological surveys is a must).
• Strong technical and business‑writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or on a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ArcGIS knowledge or interest preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and client‑service orientation.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.
