Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Consulting Associate, Scientist to contribute to environmental assessments and regulatory compliance across a variety of projects. You will assist with NEPA analyses, ecological field surveys, and technical reporting within a collaborative team.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field (minimum 3.0 GPA) or equivalent experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, natural science, environmental engineering, or related discipline (3.0 GPA or higher) or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience with technical documentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced consulting environment and travel as needed.
• Driver's license required for travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Support NEPA Environmental Assessments (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for development projects.
• Assist with ecological field surveys, data collection, and literature reviews.
• Prepare and contribute to technical reports and client deliverables.
• Coordinate multi-media plans and permits with agencies as needed.
• Provide technical support on land use planning and water resources management.
