  • Field oversight of drilling and soil sampling.
  • Soil logging using United Soil Classification System.
  • Soil sampling hand auger and mechanical drilling.
  • Groundwater and stormwater sampling.
  • Stormwater compliance inspections.
  • Soil vapor sampling using Summa canisters or tubes/pumps.
  • Indoor air sampling.
  • Sub-contractor and construction field and safety oversight.
  • Support environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance projects in the field and office.
  • Interpret hydrogeological and chemical data.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and work plans.

Overview

Work closely with Project Managers and other technical leads performing remediation, investigation, monitoring, facility compliance, permitting, process, and other environmental activities.

Responsibilities
  • Field oversight of drilling and soil sampling.
  • Soil logging using United Soil Classification System.
  • Soil sampling hand auger and mechanical drilling.
  • Groundwater and stormwater sampling.
  • Stormwater compliance inspections.
  • Soil vapor sampling using Summa canisters or tubes/pumps.
  • Indoor air sampling.
  • Individual and clustered monitoring well installation and abandonment and soil vapor nested probe installation and abandonment.
  • Oversights of soil excavations.
  • Sub-contractor and construction field and safety oversight.
  • Support environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance projects in the field and office.
  • Perform a variety of field work including environmental assessments, environmental investigations, site inspections, feasibility tests, remedial implementation, and subcontractor oversight.
  • Interpret hydrogeological and chemical data.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and work plans in support of assessment, investigation, and remediation projects.
  • Support large and complex tasks to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Travel on short and/or long-term assignments.

  • Must have a 4-year degree in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science

Compensation

In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $70,304.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
