Job summary

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field is required.
Significant first-hand experience in a laboratory setting in one of these fields.

Responsibilities

Work with Science Department faculty to prepare syllabi and develop curricula.
Teach undergraduate environmental science and/or biology courses and laboratories using effective instructional strategies.
Use assessment methods to measure student understanding on a regular basis.
Maintain excellent communication with students and staff throughout the semester.
Submit grade reports, attendance and other required reports by due dates.
Attend laboratory safety trainings and follow safety guidelines.
