Job summary

Kean University invites applications for an Environmental Science adjunct faculty position. Courses include Meteorology, Earth Science, GIS, Environmental Management, Environmental Science and Geography, taught in person at Union or Kean Ocean campuses.

All adjuncts are non-tenure track and must hold a master’s degree in a related field with teaching experience; ABD/Ph.D. candidates are encouraged to apply, and LMS proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Adjunct teaching roles require a master’s degree in a related field and teaching experience.
• ABD, Ed.D., or Ph.D. candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with a Learning Management System is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Meteorology, Earth Science, GIS, Environmental Management, Environmental Science and Geography courses in person.
• Labs may be required and adjuncts must schedule office hours outside class.
• Adjunct positions are non-tenure track.
