New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Environmental Science. This part-time appointment supports undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Science.

The instructor will develop and deliver lectures, use Canvas for course management, and meet with students outside of class as needed to promote student success and engagement. The role emphasizes effective teaching and collaboration with faculty.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Environmental Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures and organize in-class activities.
• Learn to use Canvas, NJIT’s online course management system.
• Provide time weekly to meet with students outside of class.
• Review grades with the Undergraduate Program Director and submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
• Review university communications in a timely manner.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to responsibilities.
