Position Details:

ESH Technician Job Summary:

Serves as an environmental and safety resource for facility and subcontractor personnel working in various industrial fields related to ship repair. This includes work on board sea-going vessels, ships, industrial shops, dry docks, and more, ensuring compliance with Federal OSHA, State OSHA, NAVSEA Standard Items, and Maritime regulations and requirements.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED certificate or equivalent education and experience.
Experience and Knowledge:
  • Ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulations 29 CFR 1910, 1915, and NAVSEA Standard Items.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maritime knowledge.
  • Experience in investigating and reporting incidents.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve complaints and negotiate effectively.
