Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Biological Engineering required.
• MS degree preferred.
• 3-5 years environmental engineering experience required.
• 1-2 years industrial safety and health experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Interface with local, state, and federal agencies regarding inspections, permitting, and compliance issues.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce formal compliance plans and documentation (ISO 14001, etc.).
• Meet with management to report EMS performance and set environmental goals and objectives; manage audits.
• Maintain the environmental compliance calendar and schedule internal/external audits.
• Conduct monthly stormwater inspections at all basins to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports for regulatory agencies and management.
