Under the auspices of the West Virginia Watershed Improvement Branch, employee will develop and implement water quality improvement projects.The employee will do this in cooperation and communication with all local, state, and federal agencies, industry, business, academia, as well as a diversity of other watershed stakeholder interests, such as environmental groups, local citizenry, and watershed associations.

Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
OR
Substitution: Additional full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training at a rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) semester hours of training.
AND
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in the acquisition, preservation, protection and enhancement of environmental/natural resources, environmental protection or in an agency-specific area related to environmental impact.
OR
Substitution: Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience at the rate of fifteen (15) semester hours for every one (1) year of experience.
PG: 15 $41,194 - $71,789
Market Rate: $63,870
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in nonprofit management or environmental training (e.g., stormwater, septic, acid mine drainage, or stream design), GIS skills, volunteer coordination experience, and/or degrees in environmental studies, biology, or geology.
