Position Overview

This position manages the Food Program for the Public Health Sanitation Division of the Office of Environmental Health Services, Bureau for Public Health. Responsibilities include managing federal grants and inspection contracts, supervising staff, developing policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves providing guidance on food sanitation rules, conducting program assessments, and developing training for various stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Training: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience as detailed below.
  • Substitution: Experience may substitute for education at a rate of 1 year per 15 semester hours graduate or 30 semester hours undergraduate.
  • Experience: Four (4) years of relevant full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience.
