Job summary

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is seeking a Natural Resource Specialist to plan, develop, and maintain district natural resources. The role covers wetlands development, wildlife and habitat management, and mitigation of sensitive species.

You will oversee vegetation restoration, monitor landscape development, and handle lease management and security. A four-year degree in biology, forestry, or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field such as Biology, Wildlife and Fisheries Biology, Resource Science, Forestry, Botany, Landscape Architecture, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and maintain natural resources within SacSewer.
• Manage wetlands development, wildlife development and management, habitat and sensitive species mitigation and development.
• Restore and enhance vegetation management and monitor landscape development and maintenance.
• Oversee lease management and security.
