Job summary

Summit Drilling is seeking an experienced Remediation Foreman to lead field crews and manage environmental remediation, construction, and mitigation projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The role requires 3–5 years of leadership in environmental or heavy civil construction, strong blueprint literacy, and hands-on supervision of excavation and remediation systems. Regular travel and a safety-first approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years leadership experience in environmental remediation, civil construction, industrial construction, utility construction or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and engineered drawings.
• Experience operating construction equipment and managing excavation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews of up to six personnel on remediation and construction projects.
• Coordinate and execute daily field operations per project plans and safety requirements.
• Read, interpret and implement blueprints and specifications.
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair remediation systems (air sparge, biosparge, groundwater treatment, SVE, vapor intrusion, wells).
• Oversee excavation, vaults, utilities, shoring, tank removals and related activities.
• Operate construction equipment and coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and field documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and environmental regulations.
• Prepare field reports and project documentation accurately.
