Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in natural sciences, engineering, environmental or resource planning or related field.
• Four years of verifiable work experience in environmental permitting and regulations or related fields.
• Must possess a valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Research and track federal, state and local regulations affecting the department.
• Advise management on pertinent regulations and actions. Provides regulatory expertise and permit processing support to managers and staff.
• Coordinate with regulatory and planning agencies to obtain authorizations for projects and maintenance.
