Job summary

Terracon is seeking an Environmental Regulatory Compliance Leader to guide local and regional compliance efforts in the Pacific Northwest, with options to base in Mountlake Terrace, WA or Portland, OR. You will lead projects, mentor staff, build client relationships, and help expand Terracon's environmental services, focusing on air permitting, stormwater, RCRA, and reporting.

8+ years of regulatory consulting experience and strong technical writing are required, along with a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology Engineering or Environmental Science.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in a full-time regulatory compliance consulting role.
• Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history

Responsibilities

• Grow and expand existing environmental compliance services
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness
• Understand the local and regional market
• Develop strong working relationships with clients
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations
