Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a QC Environmental Monitoring Analyst I to perform routine monitoring tests on raw materials, finished products, air, water, and surfaces, with rigorous documentation in GMP/GDP-compliant records.

You will work under supervision to support investigations, maintain instruments, and contribute to quality improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A high school diploma and 3+ years in an environmental microbiology setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Environmental Monitoring or Microbiology in a regulated environment (FDA/ISO/USDA).
• Experience with GLP, GMP, GDP and SOP adherence preferred.
• Proficiency with data entry and analysis software (LIMS); strong technical writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC Environmental Monitoring testing on materials, finished products, and air, water, surface, personnel, and cleaning samples with accurate documentation.
• Review laboratory testing in line with SOPs, specifications, and timelines.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, GLP, GMP, HSE and support QC procedures development and implementation.
• Prepare laboratory areas for audits, including logbooks, calibration records, expirations, and cleanliness.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and data records, support inventory and validation activities.
• Assist in investigations by documenting invalid results and supporting root-cause analyses.
