Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Quality Control Analyst I for the QC Microbiology Department in Memphis. The role involves processing routine environmental monitoring samples, product-release testing, and raw material testing with attention to detail and strong communication in a fast-paced lab.

The position requires basic microbiology knowledge, aseptic techniques, and ability to work in a clean room. Experience with GMP systems and lab instrumentation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or relevant scientific discipline is required.
• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience or FDA/cGMP exposure preferred.
• Able to work in a Clean Room with full gowning requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented work.
• Familiarity with microbiology techniques and aseptic handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring including air and surface sampling and personnel monitoring.
• Receive and inventory laboratory supplies, media and reagents.
• Adhere to SOPs and ensure data integrity and traceability.
• Assist with department operations, paperwork, and documentation.
• Utilize GMP systems and maintain efficient testing workflows.
