Job summary

City and County of Denver is seeking an Associate Environmental Public Health Analyst (Asbestos) to manage asbestos programs, lead-based paint and indoor air quality initiatives within the Environmental Quality division of DDPHE. The role involves field inspections, data management and regulatory reporting while collaborating with city departments and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asbestos and lead-based paint and indoor air quality programs, reducing risk to health and the environment.
• Provide technical oversight of consultants and contractors to control costs.
• Record management and QA/QC of environmental datasets for city properties.
• Conduct field sampling and maintain chain-of-custody forms.
• Ensure compliance with CDPHE and federal regulations.
