U.S. Pacific Fleet is seeking an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Environmental Division at Pearl Harbor NSY and IMF. The role involves implementing comprehensive environmental protection programs directly tied to public safety, welfare, and natural resource protection in and around the shipyard.

A Secret clearance is required and telework is eligible. For GS-11, education options include Ph.D. or related degrees or three years of graduate study toward a Ph.D.; LL.M.

You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION - CODE 106.3 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Salary Ranges: GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359 GS-12: $93,445 - $121,482

Key Responsibilities

You will implement an environmental protection program that embraces a range of subjects directly or indirectly concerned with public safety and welfare and with the protection of natural resources in and around the shipyard.

Requirements & Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience for the GS-11 grade level ONLY: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled.
