Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Environmental Project Manager / Scientist to join our Southeast Florida team. You will support Phase I and Phase II ESAs, site investigations, field sampling, tank closure assessments, remediation projects, and regulatory reporting, with increasing project ownership.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Florida environmental consulting experience, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, labs, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of Florida Phase I and Phase II environmental consulting experience.
  • Experience with environmental assessment and technical report writing.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and data evaluation skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors at project sites as well as in an office environment.
  • Current residency in Southeast Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and contaminated site investigations.
  • Conduct tank closure assessments and environmental field investigations.
  • Collect soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water samples.
  • Prepare Site Assessment Reports (SARs), Soil Management Plans (SMPs), Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), implementation reports, and other regulatory documents.
  • Support contaminated soil and groundwater remediation projects.
  • Evaluate environmental data and prepare clear, accurate technical reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and meet project schedules.
  • Perform both field and office-based work.
