AECOM is actively seeking a talented Senior Environmental Project Manager for immediate employment in California. This is a client facing role and you will be working not only with AECOM’s clients, but with a close-knit local team connected across AECOM globally to bring the best resources to your projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects and AECOM staff, client and stakeholder engagement, and support of business development activities.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Manages more complex clients and environmental site assessment and remediation projects. Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
• Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out)
• Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals
• Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business.
• Applies advanced understanding of environmental site assessment and remediation concepts, industry knowledge, and technical capabilities.
• Works independently with latitude to determine work priorities and receives guidance on overall project objectives.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments and work priorities. Uses judgment outside of defined parameters and procedures to make decisions.
• Conveys complex or sensitive information, topics and concepts with AECOM staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
