Job summary

Verdantas is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Environmental team in Ohio with hybrid work options. You will lead projects from scoping to completion, oversee Phase II ESAs, and mentor junior staff while engaging clients and supporting business development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in environmental science/geology/engineering, 7+ years in environmental consulting, 2+ years in PM, and strong knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Ohio VAP, and BUSTR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Ohio VAP, and BUSTR.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling; prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals.
